This page explains what rendr stores in your browser and why. It sits alongside the Privacy Policy.
| Name | Purpose | Type | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| rendr_session | Keeps you signed in. Without it every page load would ask for your password again. | Strictly necessary | Until sign out, or 14 days |
| rendr.idea | Session storage, not a cookie. Holds the idea you typed on the landing page so it survives the hop to sign-up. | Strictly necessary | Until the tab closes |
The session cookie is HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax, and is served with the Secure flag in production. It holds a signed reference to your account, not your password.
rendr does not run advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, or third-party analytics pixels on the marketing site or in the app. There is no ad network embedded in the product, and we do not sell or share browsing data with one.
Some pages load assets or services operated by others — payments are handled by Stripe, and generated media may be served from our storage provider. Those providers may set their own cookies when you interact with them; their policies govern that. See Subprocessors for the full list of who we use.
You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time. Blocking the session cookie will sign you out and prevent sign-in, because the product cannot identify your account without it.
