rendr is a tool people use to make their own work. We do not review everything made with it, but we act on valid reports that content infringes someone's rights. This page explains how to send one. It sits alongside the Acceptable Use Policy.

Reporting infringement

Send a notice to hello@saucemedia.us with the subject line “Copyright notice”. To be actionable it should include:

• Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
• Identification of the work you say is infringed.
• The specific location of the material you are asking us to remove — a shared document URL or asset URL, not a general description.
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

What happens next

We review the notice, remove or disable access to the material if it is valid, and notify the account that posted it, passing on your notice.

Counter-notice

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address including your contact details, identification of the removed material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed in error, and your consent to jurisdiction in the courts where you live. We may restore the material after the statutory waiting period unless the original reporter files suit.

Repeat infringers

We terminate accounts that repeatedly infringe.

Misuse

Knowingly filing a false notice carries liability. Please only report material you hold rights in or are authorised to act on.
